New clients: please email Missy to get started. Please keep your first email brief and leave out private health details; just let us know you are interested and the best way to reach you.
Existing clients: schedule online anytime.
Sessions are typically 60 minutes. Longer sessions are available on request and are prorated.
Missy is out of network with insurance companies, but she can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement. She is in network with Lyra, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Payment with an HSA is accepted.
Telehealth sessions are available. Missy is licensed in Indiana and Michigan and can work with clients located in either state.
Monday through Thursday. The first appointment of the day starts at 9:30 am, and the last appointment starts at 5:00 pm.
Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance. Sessions canceled or rescheduled with less notice are charged the full session fee ($140 individual, $155 couples), which insurance does not cover. If you arrive late, the session still ends at its scheduled time and the full session fee is charged.
Payment is due at the time of service. A valid credit card is kept on file and charged on the day of your session, unless you pay by check or cash at the session. A $10 fee applies to returned checks.
Leave a voicemail or send an email or text, and Missy will try to respond within 24 hours, Monday through Thursday, except holidays. Please use email and text only for scheduling, not for therapy topics or emergencies.
Phone consultations, lengthy emails, letters and reports, document review, and court appearances are billed at $140 per hour, including travel time, and are usually not covered by insurance. Phone sessions are available when you are out of town or sick.
New clients review and agree to the full practice policies, informed consent, and Notice of Privacy Practices through the secure client portal before the first session. Sessions may not be audio or video recorded.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
In crisis? This practice cannot respond to emergencies by email or text. If you or someone you love is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call the Community Crisis Line at (317) 621-5700, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
